Growing Pains

Growing up is one of the most difficult tasks a person will face in life. We never really actually grow up. I think the important thing is having people who have “grown up” more than you around to influence you into the right direction. Parents can’t always be those people. Sometimes it’s just having an older friend to point some things out that we would have otherwise missed. Or maybe it’s having a significant other that has made mistakes and understands the consequences of those mistakes. Regardless of who these people are, it is important to surround yourself with good intentions and to remember that everyone makes mistakes, most of the time we get second chances, and after that it’s up to you to make the most of that discovery.
